Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I noticed these two gentlemen - one in the light, one in the shadows - and thought they looked like a couple of gangsters making sure the coast was clear.
- What worked:
- I like the contrast in the lighting, their clothes and how they are looking in different directions. The rope and paddocks add some visual interest to the scene.
- What I'd do differently:
- Perhaps a slightly further back angle could accentuate the sharp angles around them but I didn’t want to risk one of them moving away so took it quickly.
