Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- This was from a workshop with Stella Johnson at Revere Beach, MA. So this was one of a set of photos trying to show a day in the life at the beach
- What worked:
- I have a tendency to chop off body parts, in this case her head. I like the parallel of the shower spray and the arm, and if you look closely you can see some sunscreen or ice cream or something on the hand, apparently about to be rinsed off.
- What I'd do differently:
- Not much. I'm on the fence about the parent's shadow on the ground, but it was there, so it's in the photo.
