Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I wanted the woman to appear small against the large-blue wall and heavy shadows. I placed her off-center and left a lot of empty space around her to emphasize loneliness, vulnerability, and the feeling of moving through time. The light on her hair helps draw attention to her and suggests strength and hope despite the darkness.
