Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I was drawn to the way the color blue connected different elements within the frame. The worker, the window, and the cleaning tools all share the same color, creating a visual rhythm across an otherwise minimal white space. I wanted to capture an ordinary moment where color becomes the main subject, while the geometry, shadows, and negative space give the scene a calm, graphic quality. If I had more time, I would probably wait for a slightly different gesture from the subject or a cleaner separation between the cleaning tools and the body. I would also try to simplify the frame further by removing the partially visible sign on the right edge.
