Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- One day at Amsterdam Central Station, there was this old steam train that came out of nowhere. I was trying out Portra 400 for the first time, and this is the only portrait I managed to take.
- What worked:
- I like the natural pose, the hues and the uniform of the person.
- What I'd do differently:
- The background is not blurred enough. Or at least, I should have asked the guy to rotate to see the train better.
