Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- The photo was taken at Meet & Street 26 in Freiburg. Blue is the main colour and repeats throughout the scene, in the awning, umbrella, seat cushions, and the clothes of several people. The boy is taking his small Bächleboat (a toy boat made for Freiburg’s narrow water channels) out of the water. The calm man on the left and the active child on the right create a simple contrast between rest and play.
