Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I wanted to try and capture the colour, vibrance and relaxed mood of the annual river festival in our local town.
- What worked:
- I liked the dark and brighter blues running through the frame and then this man with a blue parasol and a blue and white striped t-shirt appeared and I thought he added a finishing touch to the composition.
- What I'd do differently:
- I wish maybe I'd waited a bit longer to see if he tipped the parasol towards the camera so that it showed more of its' striking blue rather than a hint of it.
