I was drawn to the contrast between the subject absorbed in their digital world and the vivid blue car breaking up the patterned background.
What worked:
The compressed depth of field and layering aligns the blue car right behind the subject, creating a subtle visual illusion of collision that echoes their detachment from their immediate surroundings.
What I'd do differently:
Slightly shift focus to sharpen the subject’s profile or fine-tune the aperture to make the illusion of proximity between them and the car feel even more intentional.
