Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- There was a gathering of chess players in Trafalgar Square (London) for Chessfest. Most participants had met for the first time and I initially tried to capture 'new connections'. But then I came across a father and son standoff. The child's confident stance, and the onlooker who is also in blue helps balance the composition.
