Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- There’s something about photographing people having a miserable day on a beautiful day. The blue sling, his posture and distant gaze all seemed to work with the theme.
- What worked:
- Visually I think all the important elements are in the frame for a simple portrait, I love his expression and general posture
- What I'd do differently:
- I probably would have liked to have more time to stand back to add more of the scene and have more time to engage, even hearing about how he got his injury.
