Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I loved the juxtaposition of the bank of clouds and the man working on the lighthouse and used a telephoto to compress the image and get the right line of sight. I also liked the rust stains connecting the lighthouse to the building storm behind and the implication that rough weather is nothing new.

This is a Rockwell painting, surely. I remember when you posted it to dailies and being floored by it then, and i'm glad to see it here. It fit's the theme perfectly. The clouds rolling in. The man oblivious to them, while he's working away. Stunning image.
