Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- When I saw these facilities I took the photo to trigger a memory for anyone who had a relative with either or both of these blue items in their bathroom.
- What worked:
- I used the pop up flash to try and imitate the look you'd get with a flash cube on an old Kodak instamatic camera because of the retro toilet roll cover.

That's very kind of you, Nelson.
This is clever and hilarious. The doll looks so welcoming!
Ooooops, didn't tag you, David (see below).
It was an irresistible scene. Many thanks, David.
My Nan used to chain knit loads of these to give to the local charity shop to sell... couple of decades ago... She had terrible arthritis in her hands but it had shaped them into the way she'd hold a knitting needle so it was pretty much all she could manage. Yep, memory trigger for sure!
Thank you for sharing, Dan. I do a few errands for one of my neighbours and before she had this blue one, she had the classic red flamenco dancer. Cheers.
Ha - great stuff. Love the isometric projection too.
The knowledge gained from being a photographers assistant, many moons ago, to someone who would shoot cars in studios with floating ceilings, well, you can keep all that decisive moment malarky :-))) Have a good one fella.
