Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Saw this group walking towards me and the repetition of red and sunglasses caught my eye, and I thought it would make for a nice color contrast against the blue sky.
- What worked:
- This was just a quick from the hip shot and I am very happy with the spacing of the subjects and the light posts in the background.
- What I'd do differently:
- I should have used a smaller aperture for a deeper DOF. Just before this I was shooting in a dark alleyway so I had opened my aperture to f4 and I forgot to stop down once I stepped out into the sun again
