Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I was attracted to the comedy of someone wearing a "Locals Only" shirt next to one of the most photographed tourist landmarks in the United States, as there is a long queue of people, some with suitcases, to take their own photo. I even got a bonus with the bottom step of the landmark that says "watch your step" and the person next in line is on crutches with an injury.
- What worked:
- Everyone is spaced really well across the frame with a little room to breath in the upper and lower parts of the frame as well as managing to get two different comedic moments in a single frame
- What I'd do differently:
- It was an overcast day and I can't control the weather, so I can't complain too much about the lighting. I also could have waited a moment longer and the "Locals Only" graphic would have been a little larger in frame.
