Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I was visiting the famed LFC victory parade in a fairly charismatic part of the city. Swarmed by people, I found this old man sat down, perhaps wishing he was somewhere quieter, surrounded by hyperactive chaos. Everywhere you look Theres a little story. The young boy climbing the road sign whilst his mum watches on with concern. The day drinkers enjoying some 12pm San Miguel. The family that are clearly trying to figure out where they are. I really enjoy this frame. And when I look at it, I feel like I can hear it.
- What worked:
- The overcast sky gave a blanket of light that exposed everybody and everything. And the positioning of the foreground adds to the claustrophobic feeling.
- What I'd do differently:
- I’d have taken more. Definitely.
