Show us a compelling street photo where the frame is packed out.
The brief
We want to see busy street photographs, images where the viewer's eye travels across the frame, taking time to enjoy all the little details. Think about the flow of people in the image, keeping it visually stimulating but not too busy
Look for scenes with layers: a foreground moment, a middle ground where something else is happening, and a background that adds context or a second story. Think about trying to find an image that invites a second and third look, revealing new details each time.

“Love the composition and sense of drama in this. Really great use of the hand in the foreground to convey tension, which is also in her expression.” — Shane

“I really like that this photo makes you look extra hard. Lots of abstract strange flesh shapes! I think it works, my only small criticism is the red takes the eye and that character doesn't need more emphasising. Apart from that, I think it is a great frame.” — Matt

“Great colours and the young boys gesture appearing through the middle of the frame, reaching for the USA flag. Great light and juggling of the elements, and of course "Yes: which is what we all have to say when we think we have got a good one...” — Matt

“The art of looking! I like how each character is glancing in a different direction or doing something with their eyes. The three kids along the bottom row really make it, especially the boy, potentially mimicking the photographer, who is looking at all the looking! Overall... Well looked!” — Matt

“Bubbles are really difficult, almost as difficult as flags. Anything that can be taken by the wind is unpredictable and tough to control. You have done a great job at framing the faces within the bubbles and keeping the girl on the left and in the middle in their own space. Well done, tough one to make work, and it does.” — Matt

“I like how the reds all co-ordinate and the bowl mirrors the sign. The colours in this photo are really strong. Good example of a strong colour match photo.” — Matt
