Manual Focus Lenses
Does anyone know why many of the manual focus lenses are now making auto-focus lenses, but no one is imitating Voigtlander and making manual lenses with electronic contacts?

I think one reason is cost. So many manual lenses by the likes of TTArtisan and others are very inexpensive compared to Voigtlander.
Also, the absence of electronics simplifies the lens design making it more reliable and less prone to failure. Carl Zeiss did make electronic contact Loxia lenses for E mount but since they discontinued them, the most recent cameras have had problems communicating with these lenses.
