Manchester recommendations
Hi 👋🏻 I’m going to be in Manchester the next weekend (Aug 8-9) and since I’ve not been to the city in about 10 years would appreciate some recommendations of new places to visit, interesting areas for street photography, coffee shops, restaurants etc. Thanks in advance! Ps: if anyone is around the city and would be up for meeting for a coffee let me know!
Hey, did you get to visit Aflecks when you were there in the past? I lived in the city 20 years ago and it was one of my favorite places to go and spent time as a student. It is great for photography.
Lots of querky little shops and intriguing characters.
You can grab a coffee and a bite as well on the top floor.
It is right behind Picadilly Gardens.
For restaurant, there is an old Italian called "the stock exchange" I think it is still kicking about (or at least was 2 years ago). It is a bit on the fancy side and it is at the location of the old manchester stock exchange.
