BnW Film stock choices
Hope to be venturing out with some BnW film for the current assignment. I've been experimenting with BnW for a while now. I'm still learning what works, what doesn't and what I enjoy. I do prefer low contrast so am thinking Ilford hp5 plus. Any others I should be looking at? What is your go to?
You might have a look at Optik Oldschool's new OptiMono 100. I am quite surprised with the results fur such a low priced film. (Availability might be a bit of an issue, though). My goto is btw HP5+ and FP4+
I will be trying XP2 for it's latitude and C41 processing otherwise it's TRI-X
You just can't go wrong with HP5 in my opinion!
XP2 is lovely
