Kids camera recs

I have a daughter who will soon be 7, and I'd like to get her a camera that's suitable for her age. I don't want anything with games or other distractions built in. Reddit seems to recommend either the CampSnap digital camera (which doesn't have a screen) or the Kodak Friendly Zoom FZ45 (which does have a screen). Does anyone here enjoy photography with their kids? I'd love to hear your recommendations or experiences.

I think it depends on your budget and how rugged you want the camera to be.

After my children managed to break the old Canon Powershot I lent them to play around, I bought them two used micro-four thirds cameras with the kit zoom lens. They are quite old but were also quite cheap, not too large for their hands, and they still feel like "real" cameras, which is something they were missing with their older camera.

I'm looking for something 50-100 euros and a bit sturdy because my daughter can break it very easily too. I might check second hands also. thank you

I would like on MPB for an Olympus tough camera. My niece and nephew (7&10) are obsessed with mine.

I've bought this camera for my 6 years old daughter a few months ago.

It's on sale atm.
Pretty good for a little one with all the features it has. It also has usb-c charging and easy to download their shots.
She likes it but doesn't get much use. I guess it is a bit early but I try to encourage it and just let her have fun with it. The other day she took about a 100 shot of the sun :)

This one looks like a great alternative. Thank you so much. My idea to make it like a game: Let's go out and shoot yellow things today together. I'll do with my camera and you do with yours.

Great idea. I will try that too :)
