NYT article on 'Vision 3'
Think 'remjet'. Anyone use this often? I've only used one roll before, and somehow massively over exposed it. I'll definitely try some more. https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/odyssey-kodak-vision3-film/

I was enthusiastic about Vision 3 films a couple of years ago. I haven't bothered with the hassle since.
I like the colors and grain of the 250D. It does take longer to process and you probably need to mail it to a faraway lab.
I haven't tried the new version without the remjet layer.
The article suggests Midwest Film Lab (in Kansas), which I tried once. I think it took over a month to get stuff back. After waiting and waiting, I think I had to bug the owner several times over email to get my film processed.
I also tried using their cinema scanner, which sounded very cool. But the files, which are intended to be color graded, we so weird I had no idea what to do with them. I took the negatives to a local lab to be canned on a Noritsu, which is a service Midwest offers and I recommend.
Have you tried any that's had the remjet pre-removed?
I haven't shot it for a couple of years, so everything had the remjet. Kodak only recently introduced the version without the remjet. If it was available without the remjet before, I hadn't heard of that.
