What is your everyday carry?
Some of us like minimal gear and some love to collect many cameras and lenses but if you are about to head out for a street photography day, what is your everyday carry? Do you tend to stick to one camera and lens or do you like to ‘chop and change’? What motivates you to make your choice? I use a Sony A7C II and Voigtlander 40mm f2 Septon (or a TTArtisan 100mm f2 if I fancy a challenge) as it is fairly small and lightweight. Fullframe in a small package, manual focus and lens character are my main passions with my camera gear.
A7CR with the Zeiss 35mm f2.8.
Compact body, tiny lens - all you need :)
I use a Fuji XT5 with the Fuji 23mm f/2, and I recently added a Godox TT350 to my everyday carry. However, I am considering buying a smaller body, like the XE5. I just want to have my camera on me everywhere I go without worrying about weight or portability. Knowing my gear also makes it easier to just snap whatever comes my way :)
Great kit! I have the same camera as well (and lens) but I take the x-pro2 with me. I don't need the 40mp and the x-pro2 is a little more stealth, a little more "a geek with a camera".
Fuji X-T2 or X Pro 1
35mm 1.4 or 18-55IS kit lens
Or Canon 6D with 40mm, 50mm or 28mm

I got out with one of the following set ups.
Nikon D610 + 35mm and 85mm
Nikon D700 + 50mm
Lumix GX85 + 20mm and 42.5mm
I shoot through the OVF and the rear screen turned off with the Nikons. I shoot through the flip up rear screen on the smaller Lumix which the larger Nikons don't have. I get different images as a result of doing this.

23mm pancake (Fuji)
27mm pancake (Fuji)
27mm pancake (voigtlander)
35mm f1.4 (Fuji)
One camera, one lens. And many batteries!

My X100VI is my everyday carry. If I do use something else I still tend to go with one lens and don’t change. I find that way of working much more creatively fulfilling but also my brain just doesn’t like too much choice- I’m too indecisive!
Fujifilm X-T3 f/2 23mm or 35mm. Wouldn’t mind a smaller body but this suits me well for now!
X100v for about a year and a half. Recently got an xpro2 and a leica Q2 so either of those depending on wher ein shooting, xpro i keep the xf35/f2 on and it seperates the 2 uses.
Fuji XE5 and 28mm
I was carrying a Sony A7IV with 40mm f2.5 G lens. Relatively small and I enjoyed the 40mm perspective. I recently picked up a mint Leica Q type 116 and I have fallen in love with it! So, now it’s almost always the Q.
I have several choices:
Nikkormat ELW with an 28, 35, 50 (most likely this) or 85mm
Olympus OM-2n with a 50mm
Olympus Mju-1
Nikon F90X with a 50mm AF-D
Nikon F5 with 50mm AF-S
Yashica Mat-124G or
Zenza Bronica SQ with a 80mm
The choice is usually just based on vibe... or the weather
Leica M11-p with the Summicron 28mm or 35mm
A Leica Q2 and a spare battery. That's it.
