Dailies

This image is another shot taken at The Friars (our local Carmelite Priory). Parts of The Friars date from the 13th Century and it is gloriously atmospheric. However, its cafe takes in none of these surroundings and is rather curiously situated next to the largest expanse of concrete in the grounds. I was particularly drawn to the rather forlorn looking parasols in the background which are colour co-ordinated with the foregrounded ice cream sign. I did have to rescue this image somewhat as the sun disappeared just as I'd crouched down to take my shot meaning it was rather underexposed - but I kinda like it!
