Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- This was taken in an area of Edinburgh called Leith, it has a particular resonance for me as I was born there. In the photograph I was wandering around looking for subjects and spotted this young child sitting by the window. I hope I've captured a feeling of someone comfortable in their own environment.
- What worked:
- I feel the composition is strong as there is a distinct framework around the person in the picture.
- What I'd do differently:
- There's nothing I would change as I feel this is a successful image.
