Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I was strolling down back roads that I've been down a few times before when I noticed the ice cream vans parked in the garage spaces, as though they were being tucked in for the winter. I wanted to catch the bold colours as the light faded, signalling the joy that ice cream vans bring to neighbourhoods, but also as a signal of the end of the warmer months, providing a slight bittersweet feeling to this view.
