Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Light cuts through the clear sky and concrete on a rare sunny afternoon in Maastricht. This image was taken inside my old school building, where the academic building surrounds a small trapezoid interior courtyard. When it is sunny, admittedly a rare occurrence in the Netherlands, the sun paints angular patterns on these interior walls, which I used to walk past every day.
