Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- Shot on Harman Phoenix on my Canon AE-1. A brief look into life as a musician on tour, the photo is blurry and underexposed, it's imperfect in many ways, however it perfectly sums up what life as a touring musician feels like. Hours spent in the green room, another worn leather sofa, snacks and beers out on the counter, waiting for soundcheck, scrolling, posting about the show, thinking about dinner, thinking about the set-list, noticing the sunlight coming through the old window, repeat the next day, and the day after that... I try to capture life on tour as best as I can, it's not glamorous as a small touring band, it's repetitive, it's tiring, it's tedious, but it's familiar, and it's all I know.
