Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- This bridge is a two-minute walk from my house, and light like this only appears for a few minutes each morning. When I reach the bay, it’s often more sand than water, strewn with the trunks of long dead trees, some of them scaled with barnacles collected on their way from China. When the tide is low enough, and the fog is out, it makes for an eerie atmosphere.
- What worked:
- I'm happy with the color and atmosphere given the fog, and how it diffuses the light.
- What I'd do differently:
- There was a fisherman behind the rocks on the left. I'd like to try a similar shot with someone in the scene.
