While walking past a restaurant, I noticed the warm glow coming from a window at street level. Looking down into the bar felt almost like peering into a fishbowl. I wanted to frame the people and bar within the window, while leaving enough room on the left for reflections of passersby to establish the street scene outside.
What worked:
I like how the contrast between the cold, dark street and the warmth and energy inside draws me into the restaurant, making it feel like a little world of its own.
What I'd do differently:
I'd look for an angle that minimizes the cars reflected in the window. Beyond being a little distracting, they also take away from the almost timeless feeling of the restaurant interior.
