What I was trying to do:
After a trip in Japan we spent few days in Hong Kong. I was mesmerised by the city, the mix old technology and DIY or artisanal is amazing, old building and towering new built, and the buzz of the city but also it's peaceful parks or beaches.
I always liked this photo but was one of the photo that sat around, and for some reason, when this assignment came out I thought about it and trying out in mono. I feel the contrast speaks well to the feeling I had of the city.

What worked:
Clearly I was going for the two people walking in. I was stuck in the street car, so "waiting" wasn't really an option. I wish I'd have wait though, I have a couple of other shot with no one on it, not streetcar, no people, nothing. I'd have love to have the people even more isolated really,
