Intent
Behind the frame
- What I was trying to do:
- I often shoot from the hip. I was squeezing through a busy indoor market in Newcastle. Busy because it was raining heavily outside, this lady had just come in and was starting to close her umbrella, I often grab umbrella shots as a trigger and the colour got my attention. I just aimed my camera up from the hip and clicked. Fortunately it was in focus. The detail in the lady’s face was framed by the patch of colour.
