Blue is by far and away my favourite colour so where better for a photographer to head than Chefchaouen, Morocco's famous Blue City. Every which way you point your camera you are guaranteed a picture postcard washed in blue.
But on day one I realised that I had captured every cliché in the blue book, from street cats lazing on blue steps to old ladies in blue robes walking through blue alleyways. I had to think differently.
This shot was taken in a small side street. A simple blue telephone sign illuminated in the early evening light which, I thought, showed a different blue side to an all-blue city.
