Photo plans this weekend?
What are you up to? Anything planned? What are you shooting with? Maybe you’re going to take it easy and not take photos like some kind of weirdo.
I've finished work early this afternoon. Heading to Barbican with my camera, but also going to take in the In Other Worlds exhibition.
Hopefully be in Soho tomorrow afternoon
Barbican on a sunny summer day - nice one. Red dot cameras is nearby if you fancy a browse :)
I’ll be at North Weald tomorrow for “Wartime Rationing Weekend” - a rare local photo event. I’ve crammed two cameras, a spare lens and a new flash into my tiny messenger bag so we’ll see how much of that gets used.
1 camera and 1 lens gets used, in my experience 😅
I'll try to get out early in the morning to avoid the heat, it will be 37 degrees over the weekend.
We were meant to get a 30 degree heatwave in Manchester this week but it never happened. It’s just a mixture of rain and clouds 🥲
Wish I could get out - started a new job this week whilst also having multiple freelance projects needing to be finished off 😭😭😭
I know the feeling. I hate having to work and then I look out the window and the light is absolutely beautiful
Photographing a concert tonight. Hopefully there’s some glass around to try and work in some assignment shots 😁
Haha perfect
Wedding. Will only be taking family photos for blackmail purposes.
Today is Valentine's Day in Brazil, and tomorrow Brazil is playing in the World Cup. I'll try to go out on Sunday to take some pictures at a Festa Junina celebration, a traditional Brazilian festival with Catholic roots.
Wow. Potential for killer photos I bet
Off to Quito. Loaded up with like 10 rolls of film… for 3 days lol. In the old days this wasnt all that much. Decided against slides. No options anymore and waaaaay too expensive. Oh well. I guess thats over. Was looking at old slides the other day and the colours!! They pop out like 3D.
It’s a shame slide film is so expensive alright. I love viewing it through a loupe on a lightbox
Botanical garden might be a good spot for the assignment. Lots of greenhouse glass to shoot through. Lots of humidity and texture.
Shooting some FIFA matches! Big energy in Toronto this weekend :)
Working this weekend sadly, as I wanted to go and shoot the naked bike riding event this Sunday!
Haha I just saw one go through Manchester
There’s a meet up with the local photo club, just getting coffee and taking photo books for people to have a flick through. I might go into town early with my Pentax MX as it’s been a while since I’ve been out with my film camera.
Then this evening I’m playing a gig. I’d usually take my camera and shoot the other bands, but I’m having to step in for a member of one of the other bands as well so I probably won’t bother with photos.
I’ll have my little Ricoh on me though as always, just in case.
Just setting off to shoot Trooping of the Colour in London, weather looks good☀️
Damn I forgot that was today. Should be fun
Will probably take the camera along around central London and see if I’m able to get some work done for this month’s assignment!
Nice. I’d recommend Piccadilly too. Lots of restaurant windows there.
Good shout! I’m more around Marylebone now but will see how far I get today.
I live just outside NYC and today is a recommended "no travel" day since Brazil vs. Morocco game is today and transit will be a nightmare. I'm going to risk it anyway considering I missed the Knicks big win the other night. Too much great energy in NYC right now to miss all the action.
I saw a lot of good photos from the knicks celebrations. Very New York. Best of luck with your travels!
