The brief
Repetition can show up in so many different ways on the street. It could be repeating shapes, colours, or shadows. It could be people mid-stride moving in sync. It could be gestures happening across the frame, or multiple subjects echoing each other.
It might be animals behaving in similar ways, objects occurring in repeated patterns, or general moments that are happening more than once within a single scene.
Think about photographing in crowds of people, or maybe using the environment like flowers, pigeons or street furniture. You could also think about using the geometry of architecture, reflections, or leading lines.
For Assignment 35, we want to see a compelling street photograph where repetition plays a clear role in the frame. We are not thinking about perfect symmetry or anything too obvious, just something that repeats within the image itself.
