I believe even if you have a public account, there is the ability to opt out of this feature. Doing so will block access of any videos or images. Your text, however, and comments are still fair game.

Technically speaking, once your content is online it can be accessed by anyone for any purpose. Any indications by the hosting servers to not use the content to train AI will only be respected by the clients that choose to respect those flags. Malicious actors can do whatever they want.
How so? Genuinely curious. As a family photographer, I want to respect my client’s privacy.

If the content is protected by login/password no one will be able to access it but you, unless your credentials were stolen or the content was leaked as a result of a security breach. But if the content is public, anyone can do whatever they want with it.
I just saw a post about this where you can fairly easily opt out:
- Click on your profile image
- Click on the 3-line menu in the top right
- Click on the 'Sharing & Reuse' link on the 5th section
Then you should see a bunch of options to toggle off and opt out.
