It didn't take me long after signing up to think of how many boxes this new design ticks. A tighter integration of the community and the assignements and a great place to showcase shots for and in-between assignments.

Shane and Josh – knocked it out of the park on this one.

Ah thanks Jeff. It’s very interesting putting it all together and we’re really only starting. We have a lot more to add over the next few months.

I binned Irys immediately after opening it.

How long ago did you sign up? I found it had a great amount of street stuff at the very start of it, and then it just kinda turned into a Phil Penman copycat app and got really boring.

Just had an email from Irys asking if they can use my work to feature on their instagram feed, website and newsletters. But they deleted my account at my request only a few days ago 😂

I have a feeling that’s just a wide ranging ‘send all’ email to try and get you to keep your account live.

Yeah that's weird eh. I think I lasted a couple of weeks. You're right, it started out OK then it all went a bit 'fine art'. I appreciate the passion and ambition behind it though, but execution wasn't great.

Yeah, it’s a great idea and loved the competitions etc but they very much favour the fine art side of everything and any classic style street just gets lost.
