The Framelines Community is genuinely fantastic! I couldn't wish for a better group of people to be involved with.

Something Truly Special
This magazine is truly on another level! From the insightful interviews and stunning photography to the endless inspiration it provides, every issue is like enjoying a warm chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. I’ve also become a Patreon member, and being able to participate in the monthly challenges has been a great source of motivation for me, while also giving me the opportunity to get my work out into the world beyond IG. It’s brilliant to be able to connect, create, and share with such an amazing and talented group of photographers!
A learning experience
Becoming a skilled photographer requires more than just taking lots and lots of pictures; studying the lives and work of notable photographers, both historic and contemporary, is also an important part of the process. Framelines Magazine offers readers valuable insights into street photography, covering both personal approaches and technical skills, often through interviews with notable, experienced, and talented photographers. Its attractive layout and high-quality reproductions make Framelines a highly recommended resource for beginners and seasoned photographers alike. Kudos to Shane and Josh for the great job they do producing Framelines — the magazine and the website.
Framelines is a Community
Framelines is an exceptional magazine but is so much more; it's a real community with photographers who have a range of tastes and views on street photography. For someone like me, who likes a wide variety of street images, it's the perfect magazine. The interviews and articles are educational, intriguing and inspirational. The design of the magazine is spot on for me. The community brings something else altogether. I consider myself very much a novice and I'm never sure if the work I'm producing is any good, or needs improving or if there are ways of going about things differently. Sure I can post on a well known social media platform and have friends and family tell me I'm making great images, but I don't know if it's just kind words. When submitting work to Framelines, I know the feedback will be honest, subjective and will go towards improving my work. I do have a bit of imposter syndrome when I look at my work compared to others as far as street photography is concerned; so to get positive feedback is a real boost for me because I know the feedback is genuine. Likewise, I know that feedback suggesting ways to improve will be done respectfully and will go towards bettering my work. If you embrace the assignments, it won't just improve you as a photographer, it will bring genuine pleasure; at least that's what it has done for me.
