Thank you Josh, that means a lot.
Tbh I found sifting through images for inclusion a challenge, but, because of the format, I've allowed myself a generous quota, with multiple images per spread. I enjoyed the Affinity indesign process more than I expected, but did make several schoolboy errors along the way as I was learning on the job. One thing I felt compelled to do was to have 4:3 aspect images in full bleed, with no gutter, so that informed the format and i think it works well. Likewise, the centrefold panoramic image i wanted (with a series of connected haiku by a poet friend to accompany not only that image, but the vibe in general) worked across the double spread i think.
I've learnt a lot about that whole design thing in the last few weeks!
It arrived Friday and I've been in touch with the printers since over one significant issue, which I won't go into here but happy to in DMs.
It 'feels' nice and I've sold a few over weekend.Reply
