World Press Photo
Hi guys, I’ve just booked my ticket to World Press Photo for 22 August (next Saturday). Is anyone else going solo and wouldn’t mind some company? Maybe we could go for a photo walk after the exhibition. Or for a pint, I'm flexible. Just putting it out there! 😊
I live in Melbourne (Australia) so I doubt you are talking about the exhibition here lol but I went on Sunday and it was such an incredible exhibition. It blows my mind that there are people in the world using their cameras to tell such incredible, heartbreaking and motivational stories. All I kept thinking was so many of them are taking photos in the most chaotic and dangerous situations, but still compose and frame their shots beautifully. I hope you find someone to go with, but if not, it is a very good reflective experience by yourself too
As these are photos, it’s possible there are more exhibitions around the world—who knows?
Yes, I’m sure it’s a great one! Probably not the happiest exhibition ever, but the world is pretty much a tough place these days.
No problem if I go on my own. I’m good company for myself too.🙂
