A Tilt Of The Head At Lower Upnor. This shadow so reminded me of the tilt of someone's head as they look at their smartphone - in reality it's just the way the shadows of the gate hit the upturned boat. Lower Upnor sits on a majestic bend of the River Medway and I took this shot on the shoreline looking towards an abandoned boatyard that's for sale. Winningly, Lower Upnor has a sister village called, rather brilliantly, Upper Upnor which has a beautiful cobbled High Street that runs steeply downhill to the river's edge. To top it off these two tiny villages have a total of five pubs beween them!
