Recent Faizal Westcott YT Video
Yes, this is primarily a gear video, still it left me inspired to get out there with my iPhone and mix things up. I think others might enjoy this as well.

I just cant get a connection to photography with my iPhone. I feel it's a pathetic excuse but for me as versatile as it is I don't enjoy using it.
I think those button / grip cases might change that but at the cost they are I'd rather not.
Regarding Faizal though a number of years ago I was dawn to the RX100.
I agree - every now and then I get a shot I love with my phone and then I'm determined to use it more, but like you I don't enjoy it the way I do shooting with a camera. I've also considered a grip, but not Leica's - $500??
Really enjoyed the video - he has a great eye for detail and abstraction doesn't he. Unfortunately, I haven't got an iPhone but the principles are the same - Iooking for strange, surreal juxtapositions or reflections, picking out a detail with longer focal lengths. That's why I like having a zoom lens (mine's 24 - 85) so I can go from more conventional wide angle street photography to capturing details and abstraction at the telephoto end of things.
What camera lens/combination do you shoot with? I haven't often heard of a zoom with an 85 zoom before. Probably because most zooms I've owned have been Canon.
